The Caroline County Health Department, a local office
of the
Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene,
is dedicated to communicable disease prevention, wellness promotion, and
environmental protection for all residents and the county in which they
live. The Department operates ten programs concerned with addictions, developmental disabilities, health education and vital statistics, adult health and geriatrics, child health, communicable disease control, the environment, maternity and family planning, mental health and wellness promotion. Most services are tax supported. No one is denied services because of inability to pay.

SEASONAL FLU (Not H1N1 Swine Flu)
CAROLINE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FLU CLINICS
All flu clinics held at Caroline County Health Department unless otherwise indicated.
The Caroline County Health Department has scheduled the following H1N1 Swine Flu and Seasonal Flu vaccination clinics for the general population, including healthy adults and seniors for 2010. Please call 410-479-8005 to check on vaccine availability and holiday closings before coming to a Walk-In H1N1/Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinic.
There is NO CHARGE for H1N1 Swine Flu vaccinations and a $20.00 CHARGE for Seasonal Flu Vaccinations.

The cost of flu vaccine will be $20.00; the health department will be able to bill Medicare Part B.
Caroline County Health Department will be using flu clinics as a drill exercise as in the past.
