CHECKLIST FOR FORMALLY SUBMITTING PLATS

 

__If parcel has existing well/septic, has the Water Sewer Verification been processed? THIS MUST BE DONE FIRST
__If newly created lot, has perc test(s) been completed?
__Has worksheet* been reviewed

__Take to Health Dept. (no fee due at this time)
__Once review is completed, follow directions on worksheet.


PLAT FOR FORMAL SUBMITTAL (This includes county and town properties)

Fees* will be due at time of formal plat submittal to two agencies:
   “Caroline County Commissioners” - Call Planning & Codes for their fees (410 479 8100)
   “Caroline County Health Department” fees
     __$90 for lot line revisions, SRA locations
     __$180 for minor sub'd on private septic
     __$150/lot for major sub’d on private well/septic
     __$70/lot for sub’d with public water/sewer (unless lot line revision) All lots are counted.

Once review is completed on formally submitted plats, they will be returned to Planning & Codes.
