1998 to provide Free & Low Cost Health Insurance Benefits to Children and Pregnant Women in Maryland.
The program is for families with low to average income.

The ACCU staff’s goal is to improve the health and well being of the Health Choice recipients in Caroline County by assuring the Health Choice population has access and appropriately utilizes Health Choice Services. What
is an Ombudsman?
The
Ombudsman deals with complaints or problems referred by the Health Choice
Complaint Resolution Unit. Once the referral has been received, the staff
attempts to resolve the dispute and assist the enrollee in understanding the
managed care process.
