We are excited to share that the Caroline County Behavioral Health Team has received a three-year Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Accreditation.
As the highest achievable level, CARF accreditation means that a provider’s programs and services meet international standards of quality in health and human services. The accreditation process involves a rigorous audit and review, including an on-site survey conducted by a team of industry peers. The survey includes interviews with staff, clients, and their families, as well as an examination of organizational practices and documentation. The results of the survey are presented to the provider in a report that identifies areas for improvement and positive aspects.
