The Caroline County Health Department is now processing birth and death certificates by appointment only on Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays from 8:30–11:30 AM and 1:00–3:00 PM. Walk-ins will be given the next available appointment and may need to wait or return later, depending on availability.

How to Obtain Naloxone and Respond to a Suspected Opioid Overdose

Access to overdose reversal medication like naloxone, coupled with education and awareness, is crucial in mitigating the devastating consequences of opioid and fentanyl misuse. Anyone over the age of 18 may obtain Naloxone at the Caroline County Health Dept during business hours (8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday).

Raising the Next Generation Tobacco-Free

Studies show that young people, even those that would have never touched a traditional cigarette, are interested in electronic cigarettes and vaping products.

Tobacco Prevention Mini Grants Available to Non-Profits

A limited number of grants of $1,000 to $2,500 are available for tobacco prevention and/or cessation activities to educate youth and adults about the dangers of tobacco, nicotine, vaping, Juul and other electronic cigarettes.
