The Caroline County Health Department is now processing birth and death certificates by appointment only on Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays from 8:30–11:30 AM and 1:00–3:00 PM. Walk-ins will be given the next available appointment and may need to wait or return later, depending on availability.

Please be aware that we will be unable to process Birth & Death Certificates from September 4 through October 2.

Health Department to Host Community Baby Shower

The community baby shower will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Federalsburg and provide new and expectant mothers resources and expert advice, as well as giveaways of baby essentials.

RSV Risks, Vaccines & Prevention

Infants and older adults are more likely to develop severe RSV and need hospitalization. The virus can also worsen certain medical conditions. However, vaccines and preventative treatment are available.
