The Caroline County Health Department is now processing birth and death certificates by appointment only on Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays from 8:30–11:30 AM and 1:00–3:00 PM. Walk-ins will be given the next available appointment and may need to wait or return later, depending on availability.

Please be aware that we will be unable to process Birth & Death Certificates from September 4 through October 2.

Concerns or complaints regarding nursing homes and other regulated health care facilities in Maryland are handled by the Maryland Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ).
