We will not issue birth or death certificates on Friday, October 23, 2026. We will resume normal operations the following Monday, October 26. 

Important Update: Birth & Death Certificate Services

Image of holiday decor. Vital Records Services Update. Birth Certificates will not be issued the weeks of Nov. 24, Dec. 22, and Dec. 29. Death Certificates require advance scheduling starting Nov. 24. Call 410-479-8030.

Due to limited staffing during the holiday season, please note the following temporary changes:

🔹 Birth Certificates
Birth Certificates will NOT be issued during the following weeks:

  • November 24, 2025
  • December 22, 2025
  • December 29, 2025

Normal operations will resume January 5, 2026.

🔹 Death Certificates
Beginning November 24, 2025, Death Certificates must be scheduled in advance due to staffing limitations.
We will resume normal operations as soon as possible.
