Coalition (def): a group formed of different organizations or people who agree to act together, usually temporarily, to achieve something.
Mission Statement
To mobilize community partnerships to inform, educate, and develop policies and plans that support individual and community health efforts to reduce the incidence of cancers, chronic diseases, and the effects of tobacco and nicotine use.
Vision
Caroline County residents will live in a community in which the impact of cancer and chronic disease morbidity is comparable to other State of Maryland residents.
Wellness Coalition meetings are held quarterly and provide a place for community members and leaders to share, learn, and collaborate on new and existing projects.
Middle School and High School students are encouraged to participate in our Wellness Coalition.
